In July 2011, the Scott Keogh Racing V-ROD, ridden by Scott Keogh, broke through the 9-second barrier for the first time.

The Harley-Davidson V-ROD over the ¼ mile started life as a 1300cc Harley-Davidson V-ROD Destroyer, competing in A/MB 1815 (A class-Modified Bike) Group 3 Racing.

With a new ANDRA class announced for 2011, the V-ROD stepped up to Group 2 and now races in the V/CB (V-ROD – Competition Bike) Class.

To suit the move to Group 2 the bike was rebuilt and now boasts close to 1600cc of V-ROD Revolution engine, producing a healthy amount of power at around 200 HP.

Prepared in the United States, the Scott Keogh Racing V-ROD features high performance parts supplied by the legendary Vance & Hines Motorsport of Brownsburg, Indiana.
